Been hearing the word 'optimization' a lot in town halls and team meetings lately. Usually paired with 'streamlining processes' and 'enhancing efficiency.' On the surface, sounds good, right? Who doesn't want things to run smoother? But honestly, it feels like corporate speak for 'we're looking to cut costs, and heads might roll.' I've seen similar language used before other 'restructuring' events. Projects are being scrutinized more than ever, and there's a definite push to do more with less. Anyone else in a different division picking up on this vibe? Curious if this is just my team or a broader trend across 3M. Trying not to panic, but it's hard when the buzzwords start piling up.
