Been hearing a lot of rumblings lately, not just about the usual suspects in manufacturing or divisions that have been struggling. It feels like there's a general sense of unease spreading through the corporate offices – finance, HR, legal, even some of the back-office tech roles. Management is definitely talking about 'streamlining' and 'optimizing resources' way more than usual. It's that typical corporate speak that usually precedes something unpleasant. Saw a few internal job postings disappear overnight last week, which is weird. Just trying to gauge if this is a company-wide vibe or if I'm just picking up on noise. Anyone else in a non-operational role seeing or hearing anything concrete? Trying not to panic, but it's hard when the background chatter is so consistently negative.
