Anyone else feeling the pinch? Workload up, hiring frozen.

Been at 3M for a few years now, and things feel... different lately. My team's project load has ramped up significantly in the last quarter, but we haven't added anyone. In fact, I've heard rumors that any open requisitions are being put on hold indefinitely. No official word on layoffs, but it feels like we're being asked to do more with less, and there's this general sense of unease. Is anyone else experiencing this? Are other departments seeing the same thing? Trying to figure out if this is a company-wide trend or just something specific to our area. It's making it hard to plan long-term and honestly, morale is starting to take a hit. Feels like we're stretched pretty thin.
