I’ve been through a re-org before, but the lack of communication this time feels different—more calculated. I’ve been hearing the exact same thing on the floor. It feels like the company is trying to offload the heavy industrial side of the business to focus entirely on the high-margin tech and healthcare stuff. If your manager is dodging questions, it’s usually because they already have the target list drafted. Don’t wait for an official announcement to update your resume; the writing has been on the wall for a while now. Get out ahead of it while you still have leverage.

Honestly, the lack of transparency is the most frustrating part of the culture here lately. They act like we don't notice the stalled budgets and the sudden hiring freezes on critical R&D projects. It’s hard to stay motivated when you feel like a line item on a spreadsheet that’s about to be deleted. I’m just trying to keep my head down and finish my current project, but I’ve already started networking outside the firm.
