Hey everyone, been at AbbVie for a few years now, primarily in R&D. Lately, it feels like the brakes have been put on a lot of things. Internal job postings seem to be disappearing or staying up for ages with no movement. I've heard whispers, but nothing concrete. Some teams are definitely leaner than they were even 6 months ago, but no official word on layoffs. Just this general 'quiet' that's making me a bit uneasy. Performance reviews are coming up, and the usual 'grow your career here' rhetoric feels a little hollow right now. Anyone else in different departments picking up on the same vibes? Is it just my perception, or is there a broader slowdown happening across the company that management isn't talking about?
