Am I crazy, or is there a weird quietness lately?

Seriously, has anyone else noticed how… quiet it's gotten around here? Usually, even with busy periods, there's a certain hum. Now it feels like everyone's just heads down, barely talking, and when they do, it's super guarded. I'm not seeing any official announcements, and my direct team is still fully staffed, but there's this palpable tension. Are people just burned out, or is there something unspoken going on that we're all pretending not to see? Feels like everyone's walking on eggshells. Just me?

I've definitely felt that shift. It's not just you. There's a real sense of uncertainty that's hard to shake, and people seem to be avoiding any topic that might stir the pot. Yeah, the atmosphere has been pretty subdued lately. I've chalked it up to a combination of end-of-year fatigue and the general economic climate making everyone a bit more cautious. People are probably just trying to keep their heads down and do their work without drawing unnecessary attention. Hopefully, things will pick up once we get into the new year and have a clearer direction.
