Anyone else noticing a shift in project funding priorities?

Lately, it feels like our usual pipeline projects are getting less attention and budget. Instead, there's this big push for 'innovation incubators' and 'digital transformation' initiatives. On the surface, it sounds like progress, but I'm hearing less about the core products that actually generate revenue. It's like we're chasing shiny new objects while the bread-and-butter stuff is being starved. Anyone else seeing this? Is this a strategic shift or a sign that leadership is losing faith in our current direction? Trying to make sense of it all without sounding alarmist, but it feels like a change in momentum.

I've definitely observed something similar. There's a palpable shift towards future-facing initiatives, which is exciting on one level, but it does raise questions about resource allocation for established revenue drivers. It feels like the balance between nurturing the current cash cows and investing in the next big thing needs careful management. Hopefully, it's a strategic pivot designed for long-term growth and not a sign of underlying concerns about our core portfolio.

I hear you. The buzz around innovation and digital is loud, and while it's important to stay ahead, it's concerning if it's coming at the expense of projects that are vital to our current financial health. I'm trying to stay optimistic that this is a deliberate, well-thought-out strategy to diversify and secure future success, but the lack of clarity on how core products are being supported is a bit unsettling.
