Odd reshuffling in my department - anyone else?

Been at AbbVie for a few years now, and lately things feel... different. My department, usually pretty stable, has seen a bunch of people either move around, take on new 'special projects,' or suddenly have their roles redefined. It's not outright layoffs, as far as I can tell, but it's definitely a lot of churn. Management is using terms like 'strategic realignment' and 'optimizing workflows,' but the actual impact feels like everyone's being nudged into new spaces without a clear roadmap. Some folks seem excited about the new opportunities, but I'm seeing more quiet confusion and hushed conversations. Anyone else experiencing this kind of internal shuffle? Trying to figure out if this is a company-wide thing or just my corner of the pharma world.
