Severance packages and next steps for the affected

Just checking in to see if any of the folks impacted by the mid-December layoffs have received their official separation packets yet. I know a few colleagues who got the news this week, and the communication has been pretty sparse regarding what the support actually looks like. Is anyone looking at the WARN notice details and trying to figure out if there’s any potential for redeployment, or are they just slamming the door on everyone? I’ve been through a re-org before, but the timeline here feels really aggressive. If you are one of the 138, have they offered any actual outplacement services, or is it just the standard severance pay and a 'good luck' email? I’m worried that the internal job board is going to be a ghost town while they push all these headcount reductions through. Trying to decide if I should start burning my vacation time and focusing entirely on interviewing elsewhere. Stay strong everyone, this company doesn't care about your tenure when the stock price needs a boost.

I’m in the same boat and haven’t seen a single document land in my inbox yet. The lack of clarity is honestly the worst part of this entire process. I’ve reached out to HR twice today but keep getting the runaround about internal systems being updated. Don’t hold your breath on the redeployment front—from what I’ve gathered through the grapevine, they’re looking to trim headcount across the board rather than shuffle people around. It’s frustrating, but at this point, I’m just documenting everything and planning for the worst-case scenario while waiting on that packet.
