Weird hiring pause for certain roles?

Hey everyone, has anyone else noticed a sudden slowdown in hiring for specific types of roles lately? I'm not talking about a full-on freeze across the board, but it feels like certain positions that were open a month or two ago are now either closed or have gone silent. It's strange because there's no official word, but the internal job board feels... different. Some roles seem to be reposted multiple times, while others just disappear without explanation. I'm in [Department/Area] and we were expecting a couple of hires, but the process seems to have stalled completely. Just trying to gauge if this is an isolated thing or a wider trend. Anyone else seeing this?

Yeah, I've picked up on that too. It's definitely a bit puzzling. My team's been looking to fill a couple of spots, and it feels like we're hitting more bumps in the road than usual. Candidates who were moving forward seem to have stalled out, and new postings are few and far between. It's making things tricky for project timelines. Hoping it's just a temporary adjustment and things will pick back up soon.
