Anyone else feel like we're being 'optimized' into oblivion?

Seriously, what is going on? Been at Accenture for a few years now, and lately it feels like every other week there's some new initiative or reorg. The language is always positive and forward-thinking – 'synergistic optimization', 'value stream alignment', 'agile transformation'. But the reality on the ground feels different. Projects are getting smaller, teams are being shuffled around constantly, and there's this underlying tension. My utilization has been hovering around 70% for the last two quarters, and it feels like everyone is subtly being nudged to find their own 'opportunities'. It's making me nervous. Are they just trying to cut costs without saying the word 'layoff'? Feels like it. Just want to know if I'm alone in this feeling.
