Been here for a few years now, and while there's no official word from leadership or news outlets about major layoffs, I'm definitely feeling a shift. Project staffing seems tighter, and people are being stretched thin. It feels like there's a lot more emphasis on 'efficiency' and 'doing more with less.' Some roles that used to be standard are now being combined or handed off to fewer people. Even my own onboarding for a new project felt a bit rushed, like they're trying to get resources productive immediately without as much ramp-up time. Curious if anyone else is noticing this trend of gradual workforce reduction disguised as 'streamlining' or 'optimization.' It's making me a little nervous about future stability, even without a big layoff headline.
