Is the 'belt-tightening' affecting project viability?

Just had a project I was supposed to staff on get put on hold indefinitely. Budget cuts, apparently. This is the third one this quarter that's either been killed or significantly scaled back. My project pipeline looks pretty barren right now, and the travel budget is still incredibly tight, making it hard to even get in front of clients to propose new work. Seems like everything is getting scrutinized and paused. Anyone else seeing their project load dry up or get shelved? Feels like a lot of uncertainty about what work is actually going to stick around.

Yeah, definitely feeling the pinch here too. Several potential new engagements have been stuck in 'review hell' for weeks, and even existing projects are seeing scope reductions. It's making it tough to plan resource allocation and keep utilization up. The travel restrictions are a major obstacle; it's like trying to sell ice cream in winter without being able to leave the office. Hopeful this is just a temporary lull and not a sign of deeper issues.
