Project pipelines looking thin... anyone else?

Seriously, is anyone's project pipeline looking healthy right now? Mine feels unusually bare. Usually by this time of year, we'd have a few new proposals in the works, or at least some clear follow-ons from completed projects. But lately, it's just... crickets. A lot of existing projects are winding down and there's not much coming in to replace them. My manager is downplaying it, saying it's just a 'seasonal dip' and that 'the market is adjusting'. But it feels like more than just a dip. It’s making me wonder if clients are pulling back or if internal strategies are shifting in a way that's reducing demand for our services. Just trying to gauge if this is an 'us' problem or an 'everyone' problem.

Yeah, I'm feeling the same pinch. Been here a while and this feels different than just a slow quarter. Lots of 're-scoping' meetings happening, and fewer new 'opportunities' being shared internally. Makes you wonder what the long-term strategy is if the front end is drying up. Hoping it picks up soon, but the general mood feels a bit more cautious than usual.

It's definitely not just you. Seeing a lot more internal movement and reassignments lately. Seems like the focus is on retaining talent on existing work rather than actively pursuing new ventures. Heard some chatter about economic headwinds impacting client budgets, which could explain the lull. Fingers crossed that the usual end-of-year push brings some much-needed activity.
