Projects feel a bit... light lately. Anyone else noticing?

Hey everyone, been at Accenture for a few years now, mostly on the consulting side. Lately, my projects have felt a bit light. Like, the scope seems smaller than usual, or maybe just less demanding. We're still delivering, but it feels like there's less on our plates overall. I've also noticed a few more people on the bench than I'm used to seeing, even if they're not officially 'laid off'. It makes me wonder if new business is slowing down or if we're just being stretched thinner across fewer engagements. Anyone else experiencing this? Is it just my practice area, or is this a wider trend across the firm?

Yeah, I've felt that too. It's like the 'big transformation' projects are fewer and farther between. Seems like we're doing a lot of smaller, more tactical work, which is fine, but definitely a shift from what I was used to a couple of years back. Might be a sign of the economy, or maybe clients are just being more cautious with their spending right now. Curious to see if this is a temporary dip or the new normal.

I've noticed a similar trend. The pace does feel different, and there's definitely a sense of people having more available time than before. It's led to some interesting internal discussions about skill development and how to proactively seek out more substantial engagements. It's not necessarily a bad thing if it means more focus on quality and innovation, but it's definitely a change from the constant high-pressure sprints I'd grown accustomed to.
