Anyone else feeling the jitters? Seeing the writing on the wall?

Been at Adobe for a few years now. Love the culture for the most part, and my team is great. But lately, there's this underlying hum of unease. Been hearing whispers, seeing some unusual 'reorg' meetings that don't really clarify much. My manager is being super cagey, which is a red flag in itself. I know some other tech companies have been doing it, and it feels like just a matter of time before it hits us. Has anyone else noticed increased silence from leadership on future planning, or perhaps subtle changes in project priorities that seem to be shifting focus away from some core areas? Just trying to gauge if I'm overthinking this or if others are feeling the same pre-layoff anxiety.

I hear you. That 'hum of unease' is definitely palpable. My manager has been giving me the same vague answers when I ask about upcoming projects. It's hard to stay motivated when you feel like the rug could be pulled out from under you at any moment. I've started updating my resume and reaching out to my network, just to be prepared. Better safe than sorry, right?

Maybe it's just seasonal jitters? Tech always has cycles. I'm not seeing anything concrete myself, just the usual corporate shuffling. Leadership being 'cagey' is hardly new, especially with how fast the market changes. Focus on delivering great work and building strong relationships within your team. That's always your best bet, no matter what. Don't let the whispers get to you too much.
