Anyone else seeing more 'reorg' buzz than actual layoffs?

Hey everyone, long-time lurker here, just wanted to see if anyone else is picking up on the same vibe at Adobe. I haven't seen any official layoff announcements, and frankly, the rumor mill has been pretty quiet on that front lately compared to a few months back. However, I'm hearing a lot more chatter about 'reorganizations,' 'team restructures,' and 'efficiency drives.' It feels like there's a lot of shuffling going on, but not necessarily the mass exodus we saw or heard about previously. Is this just my department, or is anyone else experiencing this? Are these reorgs a precursor to something bigger, or are they just trying to optimize operations without the drastic cuts? Curious to hear what others are seeing and hearing on the ground.

Yeah, I'm definitely feeling that too. It's like they're constantly tweaking the structure, moving people around, and combining teams. It creates a lot of uncertainty about roles and reporting lines, even if there aren't outright cuts. Makes you wonder what the end goal is with all this reshuffling. Feels like a lot of energy is being spent on internal changes lately.

I've noticed the same thing. While the layoff talk has died down a bit, the constant talk of reorganization is unnerving. It's hard to get comfortable in a role when you don't know if your team will even exist in six months. Seems like a way to manage headcount without the negative press of layoffs, but the impact on morale is still significant.
