Considering leaving Adobe voluntarily - should I jump ship?

Been at Adobe (Creative Cloud, product marketing) for 5 years. Honestly, the company's changed so much in the last year. The culture just isn't what it used to be. All the talk about potential 'restructuring' (aka layoffs) has me super stressed. I have another job offer on the table, slightly less pay but WAY less stress and better WLB. I'm torn. Adobe still has good benefits and the name carries weight. But is it worth the constant anxiety? Anyone else in a similar boat? Would you take a slightly less prestigious role for peace of mind, especially with the current climate at Adobe?

If the WLB and stress levels are genuinely better at the new gig, and you can afford the pay cut, I'd seriously consider it. Five years is a good run, and chasing a name when you're miserable isn't worth it. Companies change, and sometimes it's just time to move on. Trust your gut – you're feeling this way for a reason. No amount of prestige will outweigh your mental health, especially if there's layoff chatter already.

Slightly less pay is the key phrase here. How much less? Factor in Adobe's benefits (healthcare, stock options, 401k matching) into your salary calculation. Restructuring happens, and it's rarely as bad as the rumors. Jumping ship prematurely could be a mistake. Maybe try talking to your manager about your concerns and see if there are internal options you haven't considered before making a hasty decision. A known quantity is often better than the unknown.
