I totally get it. That constant anxiety is draining. I was in a similar situation a couple of years ago at a different company. What helped me was focusing on what I *could* control: documenting my accomplishments, updating my resume, and networking a bit (discreetly, of course). Even if nothing happens, you'll be in a stronger position either way. Taking PTO is a good idea, too – mental health is key. Good luck!
Honestly, it sounds like the anxiety is getting to you. Three people leaving due to performance issues doesn't automatically mean layoffs are coming. Maybe it's worth considering whether the company has actually *indicated* more layoffs are on the horizon (e.g., via public statements or internal comms), or if it's just speculation fueled by a few departures. PTO to de-stress is wise, but try to get some perspective before you completely burn out.
