I'm so freaking tired of the constant pressure to deliver, the endless meetings that accomplish nothing, and the feeling that I'm just a cog in a giant, uncaring machine. I've been busting my butt for this company for 5 years, putting in long hours and sacrificing my personal life, and for what? To constantly worry about whether my job is safe? To have my contributions minimized and my ideas ignored? Honestly, I'm at the point where I don't even care if they lay me off. Maybe it's exactly what I need. A forced break to finally recharge and figure out what I actually want to do with my life. I know it sounds dramatic, but I'm just so done with all of it.

I hear you. The constant pressure cooker environment in big companies can really take a toll. Five years is a good chunk of time. Have you considered looking into roles at smaller companies or startups? Sometimes a change of scenery and a more direct impact can make a world of difference. Don't let them burn you out completely. Your skills are valuable, and there are places that will appreciate them more.

Honestly, I think this is just the reality of corporate life *everywhere*, not just at Adobe. Sure, some places are better than others, but the grass is always greener. Maybe try setting stricter boundaries, like actually leaving on time a few days a week. Also, document *everything* you do - makes it harder to get steamrolled. If you're already thinking about being laid off, what do you have to lose?
