AECOM - Recent Project Announcements, but Still Hearing Whispers...

Hey all, Been seeing a lot of news about AECOM landing some pretty big projects lately, which is obviously good for business. However, I'm still getting a weird vibe from some colleagues and through internal channels. It feels like there's this disconnect between the public-facing wins and what's actually happening on the ground level. Anyone else in a similar boat? Are departments being restructured? Are there freezes on hiring or promotions that aren't being widely broadcast? I've heard some teams are doing great, while others seem to be really tightening their belts. It's hard to get a clear picture when the official narrative is all about growth. Just trying to gauge if this is a widespread feeling or if I'm overthinking things based on a few conversations. Curious to hear what others are experiencing across different divisions and regions. Are people feeling secure, or is there an undercurrent of uncertainty?

It's definitely interesting to see the public project announcements while also hearing about internal shifts. Sometimes those large wins can lead to internal reorganization as resources are reallocated, or perhaps even to focus on new areas of expertise. It's not uncommon for companies to quietly adjust staffing or hiring priorities to align with strategic goals, especially after securing significant new contracts. Keep an eye on official communications, but also pay attention to departmental team meetings for more localized insights.
