Morale feels lower than usual - anyone else notice?

Lately, I've just felt a weird vibe in the office, and even on calls. People seem more withdrawn, less collaborative. Used to be you'd hear people joking around or discussing projects openly, but now it's mostly heads down, quiet. My manager is great, but even they seem a bit stressed and tight-lipped about future plans. I'm wondering if it's just my department or if this is a company-wide thing. It's starting to get to me, honestly. Makes it hard to stay motivated when the general atmosphere feels so heavy. Anyone else picking up on this, or am I just being overly sensitive?

Yeah, I've definitely felt something similar. It's like the energy just drained out of the place over the last few months. Used to be lively, now it's just... quiet. Even team meetings feel more like ticking boxes than actual collaboration. I'm in the [Department Name] department, so it seems more than just a departmental issue. Hoping it's a temporary slump and things pick up soon, but it’s definitely impacting my motivation too.

Honestly, I haven't noticed a huge difference. Maybe some teams are feeling it more than others? I'm in [Another Department Name] and things seem pretty much the same as always. We're busy, sure, but people are still talking, collaborating, and cracking the occasional joke. Perhaps it's worth looking into what's happening in your specific team or project. Sometimes individual managers or project pressures can create that atmosphere without it being a company-wide problem.
