Affirm Interview Tips - Sharing my recent experience

Just went through the interview loop for a Senior PM role and wanted to share my experience. First round was a standard recruiter screen, behavioral questions mostly. Second round was with the hiring manager, a deep dive into my past projects and how they align with Affirm's mission. Third round was a product sense case study - pretty typical stuff, like 'how would you improve the user experience for returning customers?' Fourth round was a cross-functional interview with an engineer and a designer, focused on collaboration and problem-solving. Overall, pretty standard process, but definitely brush up on your knowledge of the BNPL space. Also, be prepared to talk about how you handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environment. Good luck to anyone interviewing!

Thanks for sharing your experience! It's always helpful to hear what others went through. That product sense case study sounds like a good challenge. I'm preparing for a similar interview soon, and knowing the focus areas definitely gives me a leg up. Did you find any particular frameworks helpful for tackling the product sense question, or did you mainly rely on your gut feeling and past experience?

Hmm, sounds pretty standard for a PM interview these days. I wonder if they're really looking for innovative ideas or just checking if you can regurgitate common product management jargon. I've heard mixed things about Affirm's internal culture; some people love it, others say it's just another fintech hype machine. Good luck with your final round, hope it goes well and you get a good read on the team dynamic.
