Anyone else feel like Affirm is playing Hunger Games with our jobs?

Seriously, the anxiety is through the roof. I'm on the risk modeling team and we've been 'restructuring' for months. First it was just a process re-org, then suddenly it was 'performance reviews are extra important this quarter.' Now there's talk about consolidating roles and I keep seeing people I know get pulled into random meetings with HR. I've been here for 3 years and built some solid models that save the company money, but I just have this gnawing feeling that I'm on the chopping block. Anyone else experiencing similar vibes? I'm updating my resume just in case, but it's hard to focus on that when I'm supposed to be, you know, *working*.

I totally get it. That kind of 'restructuring' always feels ominous. Three years is a good run, but in this market, nothing is certain. Start quietly updating your resume and LinkedIn profile, just in case. Networking never hurts either. Even if things turn out okay, you'll have broadened your connections.

Honestly, these 'consolidation' talks are usually just code for layoffs. My buddy went through something similar at another fintech last year. They kept everyone strung along for weeks with vague promises. He should've seen the writing on the wall sooner and started looking for something else. Don't make the same mistake. Best of luck!
