February 15 WARN filing: Allegheny office hit hard

Just saw the official numbers drop on the PA WARN site. It’s official—the February 15th layoff was real and it definitely left a mark on the Allegheny office. I know a few people personally who got the calendar invite out of nowhere on Thursday morning. It’s frustrating because, during the last all-hands, the messaging was all about growth and 'scaling responsibly,' but then they drop a filing like this behind our backs. If you’re still there, keep your head down and start backing up your work documents just in case. They didn't even give people the courtesy of a heads-up before the doors were locked. This company is starting to feel like a revolving door. If you were impacted, please share what your severance package looks like so we can compare notes. Stay safe out there, everyone.

The dissonance between the 'scaling responsibly' narrative and the reality of a WARN filing is honestly infuriating. It’s a classic corporate bait-and-switch that leaves everyone looking over their shoulder instead of focusing on their actual work. If you were impacted, I truly hope you land on your feet quickly. For those still sitting at their desks, please do yourself a favor and update your resume immediately. Trust is clearly at an all-time low, and the company’s lack of transparency shows exactly where leadership's priorities lie when things get tight.

I was one of the people affected by the February 15th cuts, and the way it was handled was completely cold. Receiving that calendar invite with no prior warning after being told we were in a 'growth phase' is just insulting. It’s hard not to feel cynical when the corporate jargon doesn't match the human cost of these decisions. To anyone still working there, treat this as a wake-up call. Don't let your guard down or assume your role is safe just because things seem quiet for a few weeks.
