Aflac - Heard whispers about restructuring?

Throwaway account here. Been hearing some pretty persistent rumors lately about potential organizational changes coming down the pipeline at Aflac. Not talking about immediate layoffs or anything concrete like that, but more along the lines of consolidations and shifts in focus. Some of the leadership meetings seem to be revolving around 'synergies' and 'streamlining operations,' which usually translates to something significant. Has anyone else caught wind of this? Is there any truth to it, or is it just office gossip? Trying to figure out if I should start updating my resume or if this is just business as usual. Any intel from those closer to the ground would be appreciated.
