Hey everyone, Been with Aflac for a few years now in [department, e.g., IT/Sales/Underwriting]. Haven't heard anything concrete about layoffs, but lately, the office vibe feels... off. There's been a noticeable increase in 'cost-saving' measures, and some projects I thought were solid have been put on indefinite hold. It's probably nothing, but the buzz on some internal channels is getting a little loud. Anyone else in different departments picking up on anything similar? Just trying to get a sense of the broader picture. Are teams being downsized in stealth mode? Or is it just the usual end-of-year budget tightening? Yeah, I've been feeling that too, even from my end in claims. It's more of a general unease than anything specific. We haven't had any official communication, but the 'streamlining' talk is definitely picking up steam.
