Uncertainty about Q4 goals and resource allocation

Is anyone else feeling a strange vibe regarding the company's direction for the rest of the year? My department's Q4 goals seem a bit ambitious given the current economic climate and what feels like a tightening of resources. We've had a few senior people leave recently, and their roles haven't been backfilled. There's a lot of talk about 'efficiency' and 'streamlining,' which, depending on who you ask, could mean a lot of things. Just wondering if this is a localized feeling or if others are picking up on similar signals. Trying to figure out if we need to prepare for a rough patch or if this is just standard year-end pressure. Anyone have any intel or perspectives on this?
