Agilent LSI - Anyone else feeling the pinch?

Hey folks, been at LSI for a few years now and lately things feel... different. Projects seem to be slowing down, travel budgets are tighter than a drum, and there's a general sense of 'heads down, don't make waves' going around. Heard a few whispers about reorgs and hiring freezes in certain departments, but nothing concrete. Anyone else in Life Sciences picking up on similar vibes? Trying to gauge if it's just my team or a broader trend. Not looking for alarmist talk, just want to see if others are experiencing this. Workload feels a bit lighter than usual, and the usual Q3/Q4 push seems to be missing some oomph. Is it budget cycles, market conditions, or something else? Curious to hear what others are seeing or hearing, especially from those in R&D or customer-facing roles.

I've noticed some of the same things. The buzz about new initiatives seems muted, and getting approval for even basic training resources has become a multi-step process. My impression is that there's a focus on consolidating existing business and optimizing operations, which often leads to these kinds of belt-tightening measures. It's not necessarily a sign of immediate doom, but definitely a shift in operational tempo.

Yeah, the 'heads down' mentality is definitely palpable. It feels like the company is navigating some choppy waters and the priority is on stability rather than aggressive expansion. While I appreciate the need for prudence, it does make long-term planning feel a bit more uncertain. Hopefully, this phase is temporary and leads to a stronger footing down the line.
