Morale seems to be in the tank lately. Anyone else feel it?

Just me or has the general atmosphere at Agilent become really heavy? People seem a lot more withdrawn, less willing to chat by the coffee machine. Even my usually chipper deskmate looks stressed. Lots of hushed conversations I can't quite make out. It's not just my department either, I've heard similar things from folks in other divisions. Feels like there's a cloud hanging over the whole company right now. Anyone else picking up on this, or am I just being overly sensitive? Trying to stay positive but it's getting harder with this vibe.

Yeah, I'm feeling it too. It's not just you. There's definitely a different vibe around lately. Used to be pretty easy to strike up a conversation, but now everyone seems heads-down, stressed. I've noticed the hushed talks as well, makes you wonder what's going on. It's a shame because the work itself can be rewarding, but this sort of atmosphere definitely takes a toll. Trying to stay positive, but it's getting harder. Hope things improve soon.

Hmm, I haven't really noticed a significant change. People are busy, sure, and some days are more stressful than others, but that's pretty standard for any large tech company, isn't it? Maybe your department is going through a rough patch with specific projects or management changes? I've found that focusing on my own work and maintaining a good relationship with my immediate team helps me stay insulated from any broader company 'moods'. It's easy to get caught up in speculation, but sometimes it's just the daily grind.
