AIG - Anyone else noticing increased internal silence?

Hey everyone, been with AIG for a few years now, and lately things feel... different. Usually, even with quiet periods, there's some level of internal chatter about projects, team changes, or just general company direction. Lately, it's been eerily silent. My manager is giving one-word answers to everything, and even project updates seem to be coming down in heavily redacted forms. It's not just my team either, I've been casually asking folks in other departments, and they're reporting similar experiences. Makes you wonder what's going on behind the scenes. It's the lack of communication that's most unsettling, more than anything concrete. Anyone else picking up on this vibe? Or am I just overthinking things?

Yeah, I've definitely noticed a shift too. It feels like information is being held much tighter than usual. Makes it hard to plan or even feel engaged when you're not sure what's happening around the corner. Trying to stay positive, but the lack of transparency is starting to wear thin. Hope it's just a temporary phase and things open up soon.

Interesting you bring this up. I've chalked it up to maybe end-of-year budgeting or some strategic regrouping, but it's definitely a noticeable quiet. Feels like everyone's walking on eggshells.
