Anyone else feeling the pressure at AIG lately?

Hey everyone, been with AIG for a few years now and things feel...different. The workload has been piling up for a while, and it seems like we're expected to do more with less, especially in my department. Projects keep getting added without any adjustment to timelines or resources. Honestly, I'm starting to feel burnt out and it's making me question where things are headed. Is anyone else in a similar boat? Just trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or if it's isolated to certain teams. Starting to get a bit anxious about job security, even though there's no official word on anything. Anyone have insights or advice on how to navigate this feeling?

Yeah, I can definitely relate. It feels like the goalposts are constantly shifting and there's a never-ending stream of 'urgent' tasks. Resources feel stretched incredibly thin, and it's hard not to feel the strain when you're trying to keep all the plates spinning. It's disheartening when you feel like you're running on a hamster wheel and not seeing any real progress or support.

Hang in there. It’s tough right now, for sure. The increased expectations without the corresponding support are palpable. Lots of us are feeling it, and it's draining. It's important to remember you're not alone in this feeling. Maybe we can find ways to share strategies or at least vent to each other about it.
