Anyone else noticing increased scrutiny on expenses at AIG?

Just me or is AIG suddenly obsessed with every penny? I've noticed a lot more questions around travel requests, software renewals are being questioned like never before, and even team lunches seem to be under a microscope. It's not like we're talking about major expenditures here, but it feels like a different level of oversight compared to a year ago. I'm wondering if this is a precursor to something bigger. I know the industry is always a bit cyclical, but this feels more pointed. Is this a sign that performance isn't meeting expectations somewhere up the chain?
