Hearing whispers about potential restructuring - anyone else?

Hey everyone, been with AIG for a few years now and lately, the vibe has been... off. I'm not talking about the usual Monday blues. There's a lot of chatter in the hallways and on internal chats about potential 'strategic realignments' and 'efficiency drives'. Sounds like corporate speak for something bigger, right? No official announcements, but people are definitely getting nervous. Some teams seem more affected than others, with talk of projects being shelved or deliverables being re-prioritized. I've seen a few more people polishing up their resumes discreetly. Trying not to jump to conclusions, but the general unease is palpable. Anyone else picking up on this or have any concrete info? Trying to stay informed but also stay calm.

Yeah, I've picked up on some of the same murmurs. It's hard to ignore the shift in atmosphere lately. The 'efficiency drives' definitely sound like they could precede some significant changes. I've seen a few projects slow down or get put on hold unexpectedly, which isn't typical for our usual operations. Hopefully, whatever the strategy is, it leads to positive outcomes for everyone in the long run, but the uncertainty is definitely making people anxious. Curious to see if any official word comes out soon.
