Hey everyone, been seeing a lot of chatter on here and elsewhere about potential layoffs at AP. Haven't seen any official confirmation or even a whisper from management. Just curious if anyone else is hearing anything concrete, or if this is just general market anxiety bleeding into our sector. My team hasn't had any 'come to Jesus' meetings or anything, but there's definitely a different vibe lately. Project timelines seem a bit tighter, and some internal reorg discussions have popped up. Is this just standard business optimization, or are there actual cuts on the horizon? Trying to gauge the situation without jumping to conclusions. I've been with AP for a while and have seen cycles like this before. It's easy to get spooked by rumors, especially when there's market uncertainty. The tighter timelines and reorg talk could just be standard business adjustments. Unless there's a clear directive or unusual activity from HR, I'd try not to jump to conclusions. Focus on your work and what you can control. If anything concrete comes out, we'll all know soon enough.

I haven't heard anything official either, but I agree the atmosphere feels a bit tense. It’s the quiet uncertainty that gets to you. It's possible management is waiting for a clearer picture before communicating anything, or perhaps it's just the usual 'optimizing' talk that comes with shifting economic winds. Keep your ears open, but don't let the speculation derail your focus. Hopefully, it's just noise.
