Anyone else feeling the squeeze at AP?

Been with Air Products for a few years now, and lately, it just feels... different. I'm not seeing any official layoff announcements, and HR is still sending out the usual 'we're strong' emails, but the vibe on the ground is off. Budgets seem tighter than ever, travel is practically non-existent, and there's a general sense of uncertainty. My team is definitely feeling the pressure, and we're all kind of wondering what's going on behind the scenes. Anyone else in the same boat? Is this a company-wide thing or just my department? Just trying to get a sense of the temperature out there.

Yeah, I've noticed the budget tightening too. It's like every expense is under a microscope lately. Makes it tough to get things done efficiently when you're constantly worried about justifying every single purchase. The lack of travel is also a big change; I used to be on the road quite a bit. Hoping it's just a temporary phase and things will loosen up soon.

Totally get where you're coming from. The atmosphere has definitely shifted. While nothing concrete has been said, you can feel the tension. People are more cautious, and there's a palpable sense of 'what's next?'. It's hard to stay motivated when you feel like you're walking on eggshells.
