Projects getting delayed - what's the deal?

Hey all, has anyone else noticed a serious slowdown on project timelines recently? It feels like approvals are taking forever, and there's a lot of 'hurry up and wait' going on across different departments. I'm in R&D and we're seeing critical equipment deliveries pushed back multiple times. It's not just us; I've heard similar stories from colleagues in operations and engineering about resources being tied up or just not available when needed. Is this a symptom of something bigger, or just a rough patch? Trying to figure out if I should be worried or if this is just how it is sometimes. Curious to hear if others are experiencing this or have any insights.

I've seen some of that too, though from a different angle. Seems like a lot of the large industrial gas suppliers, including Air Products, are really focused on massive, long-term projects right now. Think huge green hydrogen plants and massive carbon capture facilities. That kind of scale can definitely tie up resources and expertise, potentially impacting smaller or more standard projects that might have sailed through previously. It's a shift in priorities, for sure, and it has ripple effects across the board.
