The constant 'synergy' talk is starting to get old

Seriously, is anyone else tired of all the buzzwords? It feels like every all-hands meeting is just a rehash of 'leveraging synergies,' 'optimizing workflows,' and 'driving innovation' without any concrete actions to back it up. My team's workload is increasing, but we're constantly being told to 'do more with less.' It feels like we're just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. Anyone else feel like leadership is out of touch with the day-to-day realities?

Honestly, I've stopped listening to most of it. It's background noise at this point. The best advice I ever got was to focus on what's directly in front of you – your tasks, your team, and making sure your immediate work gets done well. If leadership wants to talk about synergies, fine, but I'll keep my head down and execute my part. Trying to decipher the 'real meaning' behind the buzzwords is a drain on energy that's better spent elsewhere.
