What's the vibe at AP lately? Hearing whispers...

Hey everyone, long-time lurker here. Been with AP for a few years now in [mention a general department like 'engineering' or 'operations']. Lately, the atmosphere feels… off. I know there haven't been any official announcements, but there's definitely a sense of unease. More 'efficiency' meetings, less internal mobility, and some projects seem to be getting deprioritized faster than usual. Anyone else picking up on this? Is it just my division or is this a company-wide thing? Trying to gauge if I should be updating my resume or if it's just general economic jitters affecting everyone. Curious to hear what others are seeing/feeling, especially from different departments.

Yeah, I've noticed some of that too, though maybe from a slightly different angle in [another general department]. The 'efficiency' push definitely feels more intense lately, and it's leading to some head-scratching resource allocations. Feels like we're being asked to do more with less, which is a classic sign, but the uncertainty around project timelines is what's really getting to people. Glad to see I'm not the only one sensing a shift.

Interesting to hear you're feeling that way. In my corner of AP, it's been a bit of a mixed bag. Some teams are humming along, but others are definitely feeling the pinch you described. The reduced internal movement is a big one – makes it hard to grow or even shift focus when needs change. Hopefully, whatever is driving these changes will become clearer soon, or at least lead to better stability down the line.
