Not paranoid at all. I'm in Product and feel the exact same way. It's like the constant re-orgs and strategy shifts have finally worn everyone down. Remember that period a few years back when things were humming? Seems like a distant memory. I think a lot of people are just exhausted from the constant uncertainty and feeling like their work might be irrelevant in a few months. Time to dust off the resume.
Honestly, every big company goes through cycles like this. Six years is a long time to be anywhere, and it's easy to romanticize the 'good old days'. Maybe the mission just doesn't resonate with you as much anymore, or you're ready for a new challenge? Before you jump ship, have you considered talking to your manager about your concerns and seeing if there are any opportunities for growth or a change of scenery within the company? Might be worth a shot.
