I've noticed something similar. It feels like responsibilities are blurring, and there's a lack of clear ownership which definitely impacts efficiency. Projects get handed off without a smooth transition, and it creates confusion about who's ultimately accountable. It's definitely more than just your department, I've heard whispers from other teams about the same shifting landscape and the general feeling of fragmentation. Hopefully, leadership can address this soon.
Yeah, it's been a trend for a while now. The constant restructuring and shifting of duties can be disorienting. Sometimes it feels like we're spread too thin, trying to cover areas that aren't our core focus. It makes it hard to build deep expertise when the goalposts keep moving. I'm not sure what the strategy is behind it, but it's certainly making things feel less cohesive overall.
