Hiring freeze? Seeing a lot of reqs disappear.

Hey everyone, I've been keeping an eye on internal openings and also some external ones I was tracking for friends. Seems like a bunch of job requisitions that were open a few weeks ago have suddenly been closed or removed entirely. Anyone else noticing this? Feels like a pretty hard freeze going on. Not seeing any official communication about it, but the disappearing reqs are hard to ignore. Wondering if this is a sign of things to come or just a seasonal thing. Been here a few years and haven't seen this many reqs vanish so quickly. Curious to hear if anyone has heard anything internally or is experiencing something similar in their departments.
