Performance reviews and career progression seem stalled

Has anyone else noticed a general slowdown in terms of promotions and significant career movement? My last performance review felt like a lot of 'good job, but let's see next year.' And that was before the recent general market downturn, but it feels like even internally, things aren't moving as fast as they used to. Are people getting raises, or is it just cost of living adjustments? I'm trying to figure out if I should be looking for opportunities elsewhere, or if this is just a temporary lull. Curious to hear what others are experiencing, especially in terms of feedback and future outlook from management.

I've definitely felt a similar stagnation here. My last review was almost identical – positive feedback but no concrete steps forward. It's frustrating to feel like you're hitting a ceiling, especially when you're putting in good work. I've been quietly updating my resume and keeping an eye on the market. It's hard to say if it's company-wide or just my department, but the lack of clear advancement paths is a real concern for long-term career growth.
