Seeing some odd reorganizations, anyone else?

Hey all, Been with Align for a few years now, and lately, things have been feeling... different. Not hearing any official layoff whispers, but I'm noticing some departments are undergoing pretty significant restructuring. Teams are being combined, roles are shifting, and it feels like a lot of 'synergies' are being found. My direct manager is being cagey when asked, just saying it's about 'optimizing efficiency' and 'streamlining operations'. It's hard not to feel a bit uneasy when you see people you've worked with for ages suddenly having their roles redefined or looking for new opportunities. Is anyone else seeing similar shifts in their areas? Just trying to gauge if this is a widespread thing or isolated to a few pockets. Curious to hear what others are experiencing, especially if you're in different functions. Is this just standard business or something more concerning on the horizon?

Yeah, I've definitely picked up on some of the same vibes. It's like they're shuffling the deck chairs a bit, trying to find the best configuration without really admitting the ship might be taking on water. That 'synergies' buzzword is getting a workout, for sure. Makes you wonder what the long-term plan really is, or if it's just a reaction to current pressures.

I'm seeing it too, though maybe from a different angle. It feels like a lot of 'right-sizing' disguised as strategic moves. The vagueness from management is the biggest red flag for me. If it's truly just efficiency, why the secrecy? Hope it doesn't lead to any major disruptions for the folks doing the actual work.
