Been trying to explore internal mobility options within Allegion, and it's been surprisingly tough. Normally, you see a decent number of roles open up for internal candidates, especially in different divisions. Lately, though, it feels like those are scarce too. It's not just external hiring that seems to have slowed, but even people moving *within* the company seems to be on pause. This feels like more than just a typical seasonal slowdown. Makes me wonder what the broader talent strategy is right now. Anyone else in a similar boat trying to move internally and hitting roadblocks?

Yeah, I've noticed that too. It's definitely a bit concerning when even internal movement seems to be hitting a wall. I was hoping to pivot to a different department, but the few opportunities that have popped up either got filled internally incredibly fast or just never materialized. Makes you wonder if there's a hiring freeze or a strategic shift happening that isn't being communicated clearly. It's frustrating when you're trying to grow your career within the company.

Interesting to hear others are feeling the same pinch. I've been keeping an eye out for internal openings in my area, and it feels like the well has run dry. It's usually a good way to get exposure to new parts of the business, but lately, it seems like positions are either highly specialized and filled before posting or just non-existent. Hopefully, this is just a temporary lull and not indicative of a larger trend impacting internal growth opportunities.
