Is anyone else seeing project scopes shrink?

Hey everyone, just checking in to see if I'm alone on this. Lately, it feels like projects across different departments are getting their scopes significantly reduced. Things that were greenlit a few months ago are now being re-evaluated, and budget seems to be the primary concern. It's not just one or two, but a pattern I've been observing for the past quarter. Makes you wonder what's going on behind the scenes. Is this a sign of economic headwinds hitting us harder than we thought, or is it something more specific to Allegion? Maybe leadership is getting ready for something, or just tightening the belt proactively. Curious to hear if others are experiencing this and what your take is.

I've noticed something similar here at Allegion. Several initiatives that seemed like sure bets are now being put on hold or scaled back significantly. The emphasis on cost-saving is definitely palpable, and it's leading to a lot of re-prioritization. It's making it harder to plan for the long term when the goalposts keep shifting. I'm curious to see if this is a company-wide trend or just specific to certain divisions.

Yeah, definitely seeing that at Allegion too. Budgets are tight, and it feels like every dollar is being scrutinized more than ever. Projects that were previously approved are facing intense review, and scope creep is basically non-existent. It's creating a bit of uncertainty, and honestly, it makes you wonder about the bigger picture for the company's growth strategy. Definitely not just you.
