Hey everyone, not sure if it's just me or if others at Allegion are noticing this too, but things feel a bit… off lately. I've been seeing some unusual shifts in project prioritization and a general tightening of approval processes for even basic stuff. It's not a full-blown hiring freeze, but it feels like budgets are being scrutinized way more intensely than usual. Anyone else seeing similar trends? Trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or if it's specific to my department. Feels like we're being asked to do more with less, which is never a good sign, especially when you start connecting dots with how the market's been. Just trying to get a pulse check on the general vibe out there.

Yeah, I've definitely felt a shift too. It's like every dollar is being wrung out and then wrung out again. Approvals are taking forever, and the justifications for any spend need to be ironclad. It's making day-to-day operations feel a lot slower and more cumbersome. Makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes.

I can confirm the budget scrutiny. My team just had a request for some essential software upgrades get pushed back with a whole lot of questions about ROI.
