Been with Allstate for a few years now, and lately, the vibe feels… off. It's not just the usual end-of-quarter jitters. People are quieter in meetings, lunches seem less social, and there's this underlying hum of uncertainty. I've been seeing a lot more 'resource optimization' type language in company-wide comms, which usually precedes something. No official announcements, but the whispers are getting louder. Has anyone else noticed this? Are there specific departments feeling it more acutely? Just trying to get a sense of whether this is a company-wide thing or if I'm just picking up on local office anxieties. Would love to hear if anyone has any insights or is feeling the same way.
