Anyone else feeling the pressure lately?

Lately, it feels like the workload has ramped up significantly, but without any clear communication on *why*. There's been a lot of talk about 'optimization' and 'synergy' in town halls, but on the ground, it feels like we're just being asked to do more with less. Projects are getting delayed, and there's a constant undercurrent of 'are we secure?' I haven't seen any official layoff announcements, but the subtle shifts – vacant roles not being filled, increased scrutiny on performance metrics, and the general nervous energy – are hard to ignore. Is this just a seasonal thing, or is anyone else picking up on a more serious trend here? Just looking to see if others are feeling this same pressure cooker environment. Curious to hear what you're all experiencing.

I've noticed it too. It's like they're trying to squeeze every drop out of us. The 'optimization' talk feels hollow when you're the one struggling to keep up. Makes you wonder what the end game is, especially with all the quiet departures happening. Definitely adds to the stress.

The ambiguity is the worst part. We're all working harder, and the uncertainty about job security is palpable. It's hard to stay motivated when you feel like you're just a cog in a machine that's being streamlined, and not in a good way. Hope things get clearer soon.
