Concerned about future roles with current org changes

Lately, I've been feeling a bit uneasy about where my role is headed at Allstate. We've had a lot of talk about 'synergies' and 'streamlining operations' which usually means something is up. My direct manager is pretty tight-lipped, just saying 'adapt and overcome,' but it's hard to do that when you don't know what you're adapting *to*. I've seen a few people from other departments get shuffled around, and not always into better positions. Is anyone else picking up on this? Are there any whispers about what these org changes might actually mean for long-term roles and responsibilities here? Just trying to get a sense of the landscape.
